A Polisher’s Thought

What do you think of the following:

Did you pause for a bit? I know it made me think a little? It took me a moment or two to soak this in.  So, I wanted to put this in our discussion and use this to polish our silver spoons.

When someone is using the expression, “You only live once,” typically it’s to encourage themselves or others to do something outside of their comfort zone. Most times it’s something waayyy outside of their comfort zone. For example, my husband may try to encourage me to get on a roller coaster or zip line by saying, “Baby you should do it, because you only live once!”

Well, now I have an awesome rebuttal: “You only die once! I AIN’T GONE DO IT!”

But seriously, this new phrase isn’t intended to be used as a comeback. Here’s my take on it…

I believe that this means we should view each day as an opportunity to right some wrongs, try again, keep pushing, succeed, be happy, claim our inheritance, know Jesus, help others, become a millionaire, buy that house on the lake. Should I go on, or do you get what I’m saying?

We should LIVE NOT EXIST! There is so much for us to claim victory over. It is ours, right? Right! We must take the necessary steps and don’t let precious moments go to waste in LIVING EVERYDAY! It doesn’t have to be a major adventure to tempt death. It can be whatever that will contribute to you LIVING your BEST LIFE.

Because when you die, THAT’S IT! There aren’t any second chances. That house on the lake is going to stay on the lake for someone else to enjoy.

SO TO ALL MY POLISHERS….LET’S LIVE EVERYDAY AND GET WHAT IS OURS! ARE YOU WITH ME?????
